The FIFA World Cup has arrived in Philadelphia and so has the Philadelphia Union’s Soccer Celebration, presented by Michelob Ultra! This free, fan-focused experience will take over Union Yards throughout the summer tournament, giving fans the perfect place to come together and watch the world’s biggest matches.
Phang’s Kids Club is excited to highlight three special dates featuring exclusive, members-only activations. While Phang’s Village will be open during every Soccer Celebration with fun activities for kids, June 13, June 19, and June 25 will feature added experiences just for Kids Club members. Be sure to come out and join in on all the exclusive fun!
Phang’s Kids Club MVP members are encouraged to check in at the Phang’s Tent and don’t forget to collect your jibbitz for your bracelets!
Saturday, June 13 | 5:00PM - 8:00PM
To kick off the opening weekend of the FIFA World Cup, fans can head to Union Yards on Saturday, June 13 for a full day of exciting matchups, including Haiti vs. Scotland at 9:00 PM, featuring one of the Union’s own, Danley Jean Jacques. Phang’s Kids Club activations will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, giving members the chance to hang out with Phang while enjoying the matches. Kids can take part in exclusive activities such as an airbrush tattoo station, create your own sand art if they are among the first 76 Kids Club members to arrive, and, for a limited number of MVP members, paint and design their own mini soccer balls.
Friday, June 19 | 2:00PM – 6:00PM
The excitement continues Friday, June 19 in celebration of the USA vs. Australia match. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Phang’s Village will host an action-packed afternoon, highlighted by a special appearance from the Franklin Institute. The day will kick off with an “Under Pressure” live show from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by an interactive halftime science experiment during the USA match, where Phang will join in on the fun. Throughout the afternoon, Kids Club members can also enjoy face painting from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and get their caricature drawn from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. It’s a high-energy day full of fun, learning, and memorable experiences!
Thursday, June 25 | 10:00PM
As the group stage of the FIFA World Cup ends, Phang’s Kids Club will host a special PJ Party on Thursday, June 25 for the USA’s final group stage matchup against Turkey at 10:00 PM. Despite the late kickoff, Kids Club members are encouraged to come out in their favorite pajamas for a cozy and exciting night with Phang. The evening will feature a snack bar for members to enjoy, along with a s’mores-making station. Members are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to get comfortable and take in one of the biggest USA matches of the tournament!
