Philadelphia Union Foundation’s iAM Project brings Rich Kleiman to speak with Chester Charter Scholars Academy Students

Last week over 350 students from the Chester Charter Scholars Academy got to attend the latest event for the Philadelphia Union Foundation's iAM Project which featured Rich Kleiman, co-founder of 35V and Boardroom, and long-time manager of Kevin Durant. Kleiman encouraged students to look beyond their immediate environment and inspire the development of a growth mindset and a can-do attitude.

The Philadelphia Union Foundation’s iAM Project is an academic enrichment, mentorship and career-readiness program for the young men and women of Chester, PA. It ultimately serves as a talent pipeline for upstream partners: colleges, trade schools, apprenticeship providers, the military and employers. Through the iAM Project, students will hear from a network of inspirational speakers, gain first-hand experience of the world of work, be matched with professional mentors, and be linked into industries, universities and internships. In partnership with the Philadelphia Union, BIMBO Bakeries USA, Lincoln Financial Group, Neumann University, and the Durant Family Foundation, each year the Project directly impacts more than 30 students at Chester Charter Scholars Academy and serves to level the playing field for high school students from low-income backgrounds.
