Philadelphia Union announced today they have signed Union II forwardMalik Jakupovic to a short-term agreement ahead of tonight's Concacaf Champions Cup match against Club América.
Per the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup Regulations, each roster can have a maximum of 35 players. If a club's roster does not include the maximum then additional players may be added provided the maximum players is not exceeded. In addition, per the 2026 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days).
This is the second short-term callup for Jakupovic, having already featured for the Union in their Concacaf Champions Cup Round One series against Defence Force F.C.
