Union II enters the match with three wins, four draws, and just one loss so far in the 2025 season for a total of 15 points. They were the last unbeaten team in all of MLS NEXT Pro until their match against Inter Miami CF II last Sunday, falling 1-0.
While their lineup has yet to be announced, it's possible Head Coach Ryan Richter will call on his team's depth as players like standout keeper Andrew Rick, leading scorer Sal Olivas, CJ Olney Jr, David Vazquez, Cavan Sullivan, and Jamir Johnson were all called in for US Youth National Team play.
As for FC Cincinnati, they haven't fared nearly as well as Union II have so far this year, sitting in last place in the Eastern Conference with one win, two draws, and six losses. They'll also be without a top talent due to international duty, missing defender Amir Daley who will be away with the Antigua and Barbuda senior team.
