Philadelphia Union announced today that Tai Baribo has received an international call-up for Israel ahead of the upcoming FIFA international window. The forward is part of numerous call-ups from the club which includes: Andre Blake (Jamaica), Daniel Gazdag (Hungary) and Danley Jean Jacques (Haiti). The group is also joined by the homegrown duo of Andrew Rick and David Vazquez who have been called in for the U.S. Under-19 Men’s Youth National Team Camp.
Baribo joins the Israeli National Team for a pair of UEFA Nations League matches. In 16 appearances, Baribo has scored three goals, his first one coming in a 2-1 victory over Albania in a UEFA Nations League match. Israel will play matches against France (Oct. 10, 2:45 p.m. ET) and Italy (Oct. 14, 2:45 p.m.).
