Philadelphia Union have reached a contract termination by mutual consent with midfielder Keon Daniel, the club announced today.
“We think this move is the best decision for both Keon’s career and our club,” said Union manager John Hackworth. “We wish him luck and thank him for his contributions to the Union.”
A Trinidad & Tobago international, Daniel was signed by the Union during the beginning of the 2011 season. Since then, the midfielder has made 64 appearances and scored two goals while adding four assists with the club. He did not see any minutes over the first five games of the 2014 season.
