Three Philadelphia Union players appearance for Jamaica in their Concacaf Gold Cup Opener and played key roles as they opened the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Suriname.

Goalkeeper Andre Blake maintained his MLS form and picked up his 21st international clean sheet which was highlighted by a spectacular save in the second half that you can see below. For his efforts, Blake was named the Man of the Match.

In the Reggae Boyz opening goal, it was set up by a defensive play and pass from right back Alvas Powell. The Union defender played 72 minutes in the win and led the team with three tackles. When Powell exited the match, forward Cory Burke took to the pitch in Orlando and helped the squad see out the match for three points in the group opener.
