While only two weeks of the 2020 Major League Soccer schedule have been played, MLSSoccer.com's Ian Quillen took a deep dive into the goal probabilities for all the goals through week two. After a deep analysis, two goals from Philadelphia Union's late night clash at LAFC made the top three.
No. 3- Sergio Santos 2% probability
"The Brazilian forward opened the scoring with a sensational, left-footed curler that nestled inside the left post, just the beginning of the fireworks in what finished a 3-3 draw. Believe it or not, his first goal of the season would eventually be overshadowed by our next submission, contributed by his defensive teammate."
No. 2- Jakob Glesnes 1.9% probability
"This cracker will remembered as one of the all-time great MLS free kick goals," Quillen writes.
