The Union will face off against Toronto FC on MLS Opening Day, with an expected 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Below is the starting lineup and notes.

NOTES
Andre Blake started 33 games in 2018, recording a career-high 10 shutouts including one on opening day against New England Revolution. In his 33 starts and games played last season, Blake had a career high 10 shutouts as well as an Opening Day clean sheet.


Raymon Gaddis has the most appearances in Union history after becoming the third player ever to reach 150 appearances in a Union jersey.


Jack Elliott returns for his third season with the Union after he was a three-time Academic All-America honoree with West Virginia as a collegiate player.


Auston Trusty became the youngest player to play every minute of a match in 2018 and featured in the homegrown game as one of four Union representatives.


Kai Wagner was acquired from Würzburger Kickers after compiling two assists in 13 games.


Haris Medunjanin has played in Holland, Spain, Israel and his home country Bosnia & Herzegovina having made 60 appearances in his international career. After tallying six goals and two assists in 23 regular season appearances last season, Ilsinho returns looking for more highlight reel moves and goals.


Team captain Alejandro Bedoya is looking to build on a strong 2018 season by driving the Union to their second straight playoff appearance under his leadership. Bedoya has accumulated 66 caps for the US Men’s National Team since his debut in 2010.


Marco Fabián: One of the most notable faces on the Mexican National team, Marco Fabián is looking to make his mark on MLS after arriving from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.


Cory Burke tied for the team-leading 10 goals last season in 15 starts and 29 overall appearances.


Fafa Picault was the other Union player with five league goals in 2018, marking the second consecutive season he has been the top scoring American winger in MLS. He also scored in four consecutive road matches last season.
