Union Recreational Soccer (URec) is a program that makes the beautiful game accessible to everyone. As soccer continues to grow across the U.S., we believe it’s essential to give as many kids as possible the chance to play. URec is designed to break down the common barriers that keep families from getting involved in the sport.

ACCESS
One of the biggest challenges for families is simply finding a place to play. Most kids can’t get started unless their parents join a local soccer club. To change that, URec has partnered with clubs across the region who have opened their facilities to us. These “host clubs” don’t require you to become a member; your child can play through URec without that extra step. Check out our list of host clubs to find the closest field to you HERE.
TIME & COST
We know families are busy and budgets are tight. That’s why URec programs run once a week on weekends, with no weekday practices and no traveling between fields. Everything happens in one place on one day. Our programs cost just $100–$150 per player, making soccer more affordable and family-friendly than ever.
SKILL LEVEL
Another common barrier is tryouts. With URec, there are none. Every child gets to play, no evaluations, no cuts. We believe every soccer journey has to start somewhere, and our goal is to provide kids with the chance to discover the sport on their own terms, no matter their experience or skill level.
