Philadelphia Union and Chick-fil-A have teamed up once again for 2024 to present the Give Back Program of the Month. Eight times a year, one local organization will be chosen by both parties that serves one of three pillars: Hunger, homelessness, or education. This organization will be invited out to table on Subaru Plaza pregame at one match that chosen month, be given 12 tickets to that match, will get the chance to get catering from Chick-fil-A for any event that month and will get a Chick-fil-A swag bag. At the seasons end, each of the eight organizations will be presented with a $5,000 donation.

March's Give Back Organization of the Month | YMWIC Foundation Inc.

The Young Men and Women In Charge Foundation was selected as Chick-Fil-A's March Give Back Organization of the Month. The mission of YMWIC is to empower and prepare economically disadvantaged and historically underrepresented youth to excel and become leaders in STEM careers through a structured and rigorous curriculum, academic tutoring, mentoring and financial assistance programs, accomplished by leveraging alliances with K-12 school districts, universities, corporations, and the Foundation’s committed partners. They offer five academic Scholar groups for students grades 3-12.

April's Give Back Organization of the Month | Socks for the Streets

Socks for the Streets was selected as Chick-Fil-A's April Give Back Organization of the Month. The orginzation provides services to vulnerable community members. They also perform street outreach providing clothing; snacks, hygiene and wound care bags; information and resource referrals to shelters, detox programs, medical treatment centers, rehab centers, and recovery houses; and advocates for those in need. Lastly, they collect large and small-scale donations of clothing, hygiene products, food, etc., and redistribute to organizations in need.

May's Give Back Organization of the Month | OHAAT

OHAAT was selected as Chick-Fil-A's May Give Back Organization of the Month. OHAAT’s mission is to help families who are currently lacking resources to establish (or reestablish) a self-sufficient life by providing them with the necessities of a functional home environment. They focus on ending child bedlessness to improve overall health and wellbeing. Through our Beds for Kids program, we provide children and youth living in poverty with beds, bedding, and tools that encourage healthy bedtime habits, so they can get the quality and sufficient sleep they need to thrive.
