PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2019 (Philadelphia/Portland Timbers 2): Lyon was added to the Union roster as an MLS pool goalkeeper on May 3, 2019 ... earlier in the season, he was with Portland Timbers 2 in the USL on loan from MLS as a pool goalkeeper.

2018 (Los Angeles FC): Lyon joined Los Angeles FC for their inaugural MLS season, but did not appear in any regular-season matches.

2017 (Orange County SC): Making 31 appearances in the USL and two in the 2017 U.S. Open Cup, Lyon spent 2017 as the first-choice goalkeeper for Orange County SC. 

2016 (Seattle Sounders FC): Lyon made 17 appearances in USL for Seattle Sounders 2 while also earning an MLS Cup ring as a member of the Sounders.

2015 (Seattle Sounders FC): Selected by Seattle Sounders FC in the Fourth Round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft (75th overall), Lyon began his professional career in the Pacific Northwest. Appearing for the reserve side, he made 24 USL regular-season appearances and one in the 2015 USL postseason. 

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Prior to turning professional, Lyon played at Marquette University for four seasons, playing 63 matches and recording a 0.83 goals-against average.
