2018 (Philadelphia): Ilsinho made 23 regular-season appearances (nine starts), with 21 appearances coming at right midfield and two at central attacking midfield, totaling six goals and two assists. He made his season debut with a substitute appearance at Colorado (March 31) and started his first match of the season vs. D.C. United (April 28), where he opened the scoring with his first goal of the year. He came on as a substitute in the Union's Knockout Round match at NYCFC (October 31), recording an assist on Cory Burke's goal. Ilsinho has one cap for the Brazil National team, which came on March 27, 2007 as a rightback against Ghana. He also was a part of Brazil’s team for the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he earned a bronze medal.
