McGuire played for four seasons at Tulsa, where he was named to the NSCAA Third-Team All-East Region and the American Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team during his senior season. The goalkeeper appeared in 67 games for Tulsa and tallied 17 shutouts during his collegiate career. Previously, McGuire spent time in the U.S. Youth National Team U17 Residency Program and also as a member of the Chivas USA Academy.
