Sheanon Williams signed with the Union on Aug. 31, 2010 from the Harrisburg City Islanders, the club's USL Pro affiliate. 

2015: Williams has started and played in nine games, logging a total of 718 minutes.

2014: One of six players in the Eastern Conference to record four straight seasons with at least 2,000 minutes on the same team. He appeared in 24 games, starting 23 while logging 2,088 minutes. Also this past season saw Williams set a career-high with three goals. A right quad injury forced him to miss much the preseason and the entire month of March. That forced him to make his season debut against Chicago on April 5, entering the game as a substitute in the second half during a 2-2 draw. He also assisted on both goals during a 2-0 win over Toronto FC on Sept. 6, 2014, which coupled with a pair of clean sheets defensively led him to being named to the Week 26 MLS Team of the Week by MLSSoccer.com.

2013: Played and started in 32 games, logging 2190 minutes. In just four games, Williams tallied four assists. Most notably, his two assists on June 29, 2013 against FC Dallas led the team to a 2-2 tie. His three goals contributed to the success of the Union. On June 5, 2013, he scored against Columbus resulting in a 3-0 win.  

2012: On Sept. 15 Sheanon Williams surpassed Sebastien Le Toux as the Union’s all-time leader in games played and games started. Played in 28 games logging 2486 minutes scoring one goal and two assists during that time. Named the 18th player on the MLS’ 24 under 24 list.

2011: Started 32 regular season matches and both postseason matches, registering one goal and three assist. Played the full 90 minutes in both of Philadelphia’s playoff matchess. In a 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake, Williams logged his first MLS assist when he played a ball down the sideline to Michael Farfan who found Keon Daniel streaking into the box. Scored his first MLS goal against New England Revolution on July, 7 in the 93rd-minute.

2010: Signed with Philadelphia Union on August 31, 2010 from the Harrisburg City Islanders, the club's USL-2 affiliate... Played eight matches for the Union…Scored three goals in 19 matches and logged 1,402 minutes for the Islanders…Also played in U.S. Open Cup matches…Was named the "Upper 90" City Islanders Rookie of the Year.

2009: Played the 2009 Premier Development League season with the Carolina Dynamo, earning All-Eastern Conference honors after scoring six goals and accumulating 16 points in 12 games... Left the University of North Carolina after only one season (2008) to pursue a professional career in Europe, landing tryouts with VfL Wolfsburg (Germany) and FC Twente (Netherlands).... Was unable to secure a contract and returned to the United States in 2009....Trained with Real Salt Lake towards the end of 2009 and early 2010…Made debut with City Islanders and scored his first professional goal on April 17, 2010. 

International: A product of the U.S. Under-17 National Team Residency Program... Has played in two youth World Cups for the United States: the U-17 World Cup in Korea (2007) and the U-20 World Cup in Egypt (2009).

High School: Was a 2007 PARADE High School All-American and earned NSCAA/adidas Youth All-American honors in 2006 and 2007.
