Made his debut in a substitute appearance vs. North Carolina (March 16) and then made his first-career start for Steel FC in the match against Indy (April 20). Kingue also started in the match against Atlanta (May 12) and then made substitute appearances in the matches against Tampa Bay (June 22), at Hartford (June 28) and at Pittsburgh (July 4). He returned to the starting lineup in the match at Nashville (August 10), going the full 90 minutes en route to helping his team keep a clean sheet and then started the following matches against Birmingham (August 25), Swope Park (September 1) and at North Carolina (September 7).
