Acquired by Bethlehem Steel FC on January 8, 2019. Zandi started in Steel FC's season-opening match at Birmingham (March 10), scoring his first-career goal in his debut and earning USL Championship Team-of-the-Week honors for his performance. He started in the following home-matches against North Carolina (March 16) and Memphis (March 24). Zandi started in the match against Pittsburgh (March 30) and recorded his first-career assist and then the following match at Swope Park (April 6). He started in the match against Charleston (April 13), providing his second assist of 2019 and then coming on as a second-half substitute in the following match at Charlotte (April 16). Zandi returned to the starting lineup in the match against Indy (April 20) and started the following match at Loudoun (May 3), providing his third assist of 2019. He made a second-half substitute appearance in the match against Nashville (June 9). He returned to the starting lineup in the match against Saint Louis (June 15) and provided two assists, his fourth and fifth of 2019. Zandi followed that performance with starts against Tampa Bay (June 22), at Hartford (June 28), at Pittsburgh (July 4), against Red Bulls II (July 10), at Louisville (July 20), at Saint Louis (July 27), against Hartford (August 1), at Nashville (August 10) and against Birmingham (August 25). Collegiate Experience: 2015-2018: Played for and attended Villanova University, where in four seasons he made 63 appearances (60 starts), scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists, leading the team with seven goals scored in 2018. Zandi earned numerous honors during his time with Villanova, being named to the 2018 All-BIG EAST Second Team, 2016 BIG EAST All-Academic Team and BIG EAST Honor Roll, 2015 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team and Philadelphia Soccer Six All-Rookie Unit and was named Philadelphia Soccer Six’s 2017 Player of the Year. 

USL League Two Experience:

2016-2018: Joined and played for Reading United AC, where he made 24 appearances, scored two goals and tallied five assists in three seasons. Zandi also made three appearances (two starts) for Reading in the 2017 and 2018 versions of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Youth Club Experience:
Zandi spent time with local youth soccer clubs West Chester United and Penn Fusion before eventually joining the Philadelphia Union.
