Jim Curtin named MLS Coach of the Week

After another week where Philadelphia Union collected three more points to extend its unbeaten streak to three, Union head coach Jim Curtin has been named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi.

After reverting back to the 4-2-3-1 due to a very limited roster against Columbus, Curtin devised a strong gameplan within the 4-4-2 diamond to limited the high-powered home side to just two shots on target. Playing in wet conditions on turf, Curtin made the move to start two No. 10's in Fabián and homegrown Brenden Aaronson and it resulted in numerous chances and 16 shots attempted. The Union dictated the match with 56 percent possession and over 500 passes to see out the result and collect yet another clean sheet.

Congratulations to Coach Curtin and his coaching staff for the accomplishment.
