With Philadelphia Union sitting in first place in the Eastern Conference, MLSSoccer.com'sBobby Warshaw took time to credit head coach Jim Curtin.
From his piece that you can read online here, Warshaw notes how Curtin had adapted to the 2019 Union, pressing higher and harder but still not forgetting the club's passing roots.
"We spend a lot of time in sports getting mad at coaches," Warshaw wrote. "It’s hard to win as the guy in the suit; victories get credited to roster talent, but losses get put on the boss."
