- Midfielder and team captain Alejandro Bedoya makes his 85th career start for the Boys in Blue. Bedoya notched a goal against Minnesota in 2018.
- Andre Blake makes his 11th start of the season between the posts. Blake is 1-0-1 all-time against Minnesota.
- Midfielder Haris Medunjanin with the start makes his 80th career appearance for the Union.
- Jamiro Monteiro makes his 10th start of the season. Monteiro earned an assist in the Union's draw last time out.
- Sergio Santos makes his third start of 2019 after scoring against Colorado Rapids on Wednesday.
