After overcoming 2-0 deficit to its rivals with three goals in 12 minutes, Philadelphia Union enter the Gold Cup break in second place in the latest edition of MLSSoccer.com's Power Rankings.
The Eastern Conference leaders are four points clear of second placed Montreal and D.C. while leading the conference with 31 goals scored.
"Philadelphia's rally at home to beat the Red Bulls wasn't just a terrific game but showed more of that ability to dig deep and turn a game around," Alicia Rodriguez wrote. "Jim Curtin's group is likely to face fierce opposition in the second half, but if they can continue to play this well, they could have a first-round bye in October."
