Following exceptional finishes to their 2019 MLS campaigns, Brenden Aaronson and Mark McKenzie, two Philadelphia Union homegrown players, were called up by Gregg Berhalter to a US Men's National Team pre-camp ahead of the next leg of Nations League matches against Cuba and Canada.
Aaronson was a breakout star for the Union and finished third in MLS Rookie of the Year voting, while McKenzie recovered from an injury-plagued start to earn a starting spot down the stretch as the Union won their first-ever Audi MLS Cup playoff match.
