With the Major League Soccer season postponed, Philadelphia Union are taking the beautiful game to the virtual pitch with a new esports tournament dubbed FIFAdelphia.
This compete from home competition is open to all FIFA gamers within 75 miles of Subaru Park looking to test their skills against one another and prove they are the best FIFA player in the region.
The tournament is open to players for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with each platform hosting two separate leagues that will allow up to 64 competitors per console. In the end, the top two gamers in each league will advance to the knockout to compete for the top prizes that consist of cash prize and the opportunity to take on a member of Philadelphia Union in FIFA20. Overall the top 10 competitors on each console will walk away with prizes ranging from customized items to tickets and on-field experiences for a home match at Subaru Park.
FIFAdelphia competition will kick off on Tuesday, March 24 with the regular season concluding on April 6. The Playoffs and Final will take place on April 8 and April 10 respectively.
