After a tight first half, Monkeyhunter bagged the opening goal 40 minutes in after some slick skill moves from Ousmane Dembélé. The lead wouldn't last for long in the opening match as Marcus Rashford knotted up the scoreline with a strike just before the halftime whistle to swing momentum in Manutdfc1958's favor.

The scoring boots awoken in the second half for Monkeyhunter542 in a huge wave with with Kylian Mbappé, Wissam Ben Yedder and Nabil Fekir all bagging goals in 21 minutes of gameplay to push it to a 4-1 advantage. The opening match of the championship saw an extra goal from Monkeyhunter542 with a 90th minute ball from Kingsley Coman.

Manutdfc1958 continued the press and was rewarded with the second-leg victory with three-consecutive goals from Daniel James, Paul Pogba and Odion IghaloL to take the 4-3 win.
