Philadelphia Union and the Philadelphia Union Foundation continued its “FIGHT FOR PHILLY” initiatives on Saturday morning, donating 1,000 hand sanitizers to local post office employees.

The Fight For Philly van rolled up to the Chester Post Office before mail carriers departed for their Saturday routes and were thanked for their continued service along with hand sanitizer to help keep them healthy as they delivered the mail. The donation marks the organization's fifth large donation in as many weeks after donating over 1,000 meals to medical personnel from five hospitals, 3,000 face shields and 2,500 KN95 masks and 800 meals donated to City Team in Chester.

The Donation was aided with the help of the community assistance programs that were enhanced by a donation of at least $55,000 from Captain Morgan.

Fans can still get involved in the relief effort, with “FIGHT FOR PHILLY” t-shirts are available to purchase, and all net proceeds will go toward the platform’s charitable efforts.
