OTD 2018: The Friendly Striker Arrives

Today's UNIBET on this Day in Union history focuses on Kacper "The Friendly Striker" Przybylko, who officially arrived in Philadelphia two years ago and he's been creating highlight after highlight since he took to the pitch.

Announced on September 16th, 2018, fans had to wait to see the debut of Przybylko until April 20, 2019 to see the forward take to the pitch. Seven days later the 6'4" striker earned his first start at Vancouver and immediately put the league and fans on notice with his first goal. It was just the beginning as Przybylko netted goals in three straight games to begin his Union career and he's been scoring ever since. Przybylko finished his first full season with the Union the club's leading scorer with 15 goals and four assists, the second most goals in a single season.

2020 has seen Przybylko continue to find the back of the net, with a team-high five goals to find himself tied for sixth on the Union's all-time scoring chart with teammate Ilsinho.
