Check out the Union's final regular season stretch for 2020

Philadelphia Union learned Tuesday afternoon its final stretch of the 2020 Major League Soccer schedule with the final nine matches seeing the squad hosting five Eastern Conference foes along with four additional road trips.


The Union’s schedule is highlighted with a pair of home and home series against Toronto FC and the New England Revolution. The schedule also sees the conclusion of previously announced Phase 2 series against the Montreal Impact and FC Cincinnati.


After the squad hosts Inter Miami CF on Sunday, September 27th at Subaru Park, the Boys in Blue will travel to East Hartford, CT., for a clash with Eastern Conference power Toronto FC on Saturday, October 3rd. The trip begins a busy stretch of five games in just 16 days with another midweek battle against FC Cincinnati on Wednesday, October 7th at Subaru Park.


The two-game home stand wraps up with part two of the Union’s season series against the Montreal Impact on Sunday, October 11th as the Union look for a season sweep after knocking out the Impact by a 4-1 margin on September 20th. After the match it’ll be a pair of East Coast road games with a visit to Audi Field and rival D.C. United on Wednesday, October 14th followed by a fourth-regular season clash against the New England Revolution on Sunday, October 18th.


The Union will have six days to recover before starting another busy slate to cap off the regular season with back-to-back home matches at Subaru Park starting with Toronto FC on Saturday, October 24th and followed quickly by a visit from the Chicago Fire on Wednesday, October 28th.


November marks the end of the regular season with a national broadcast match on ABC featuring the top two teams in MLS as the Union travel to Ohio for another showdown at MAPFRE Stadium with the Columbus Crew. MLS Decision Day 2020 presented by AT&T sees the Union wrap up the season at Subaru Park with a yet another showdown with the Revolution on Sunday, November 8th. Both November matches will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET.


Eight of the nine matches will be broadcast locally on PHL17 and PhiladelphiaUnion.com with the Union’s penultimate match on November 1st at Columbus set for national broadcast on ABC.
