Assist of the Month

Which pass is the Primepoint Assist of the Year?

The race for the Primepoint Assist of the Year is down to two as an unique duo battles a homegrown for the annual title.

Entering first is the combination play from defender Olivier Mbaizo and Kacper Przybylko that came against D.C. United in late August. Mbaizo blasted a perfectly weighted volley over the defense toward a counter-attacking Przybylko and the Boys in Blue were off to the races. With the defense crashing on the forward, he laid it off for Brenden Aaronson to push the Union's tally for four goals on the night.

On the other side is homegrown Matt Real's breakout performance against the Montreal Impact. The first of his two assists on the night came just before the halftime whistle as he delivered a pinpoint pass with his trusty left boot. Real gathered a pass from Jamiro Monteiro and crossed to the far post where Przybylko knocked home the tying goal.

Voting for the final will take place exclusively on the Union's Twitter and Facebook.
