CHESTER, Pa. (June 27, 2022) –  Philadelphia Union II took on New York City FC II at Subaru Park on Monday night, losing 5-0. With the loss, Union II are now in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 17 points. In the first half, Andres Jasson opened scoring in the seventh minute with a left footed shot from outside the box. John Denis then scored on a free kick to the top left corner. Union II striker Jose Riasco earned a second yellow card caution in the 57th minute, resulting in a red card ejection. NYCFC II took advantage in the 59th minute on a Massimo Murania Yankowitz strike to give NYCFC II a 3-0 lead. Jack Beer then scored from outside the box in the 80th minute. Jonathan Jimenez closed the match with a goal from the center of the box to give NYCFC II a 5-0 victory.
