Philadelphia Union II took on Inter Miami CF II at DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday night, winning 2-1. With the victory, Union II are now in third place in the Eastern Conference with 12 points. Inter Miami CF II opened scoring in the tenth minute with a Kobi Thomas goal from the center of the box to the center of the goal. Nelson Pierre responded in first-half stoppage time, scoring on a right footed strike to the bottom right corner of the goal to even the score at 1-1, recording his first professional goal for Union II. Union II began second-half play with a second Nelson Pierre goal on a shot from very close range to take the lead. Goalkeeper Brooks Thompson recorded seven saves to help Union II secure all three points.
