Box Score | Philadelphia Union II (3 (4)), Chicago Fire II (3 (5))

Philadelphia Union II took on Chicago Fire FC II at SeatGeek Stadium on Sunday night, drawing 3-3 in regulation and losing 5-4 in the post-regulation shootout. With the draw, Union II dropped to seventh place in the Eastern Conference with six points. Chicago Fire FC II opened up the scoring in the 17th minute of play with a Victor Bezerra penalty kick conceded by Nathan Nkanji after a foul in the penalty area. In the 37th minute, Chinonso Offor scored on a left footed shot from a long range to take a 2-0 lead over Union II. In the second half, Cole Turner converted a penalty to cut the lead in half in the 51st minute. After Victor Bezerra was booked with a red card for consecutive yellow cards in the 52nd and 56th minute, Union II took advantage of the ejection with a Chris Donovan headed goal in the 57th minute, assisted by Boubacar Diallo. In the 72nd minute, Union II took the lead off a chipped goal from Chris Donovan. Chinonso Offor then scored his second goal of the match in the first minute of second half stoppage time to draw the score even at 3-3, sending the game to a shootout. In the post-regulation shootout, Chicago Fire FC II won 5-4 to earn an extra point over the Union II.
