Philadelphia Union II played New York City FC II on Sunday evening at Belson Stadium, winning 3-1. Union II started the scoring early in the eighth minute when midfielder Jeremy Rafanello scored the first goal of the game, putting Union II in the lead. Union II doubled the lead in the 17th minute when forward Nelson Pierre drew a foul in the penalty box allowing Jeremy Rafanello to register his second goal of the night. New York followed up early in the second half with a goal in the 55th minute by forward Matt Myers. Goalkeeper Andrew Rick registered five saves on the night to help secure all three points on the road.
