Philadelphia Union II took on Rochester New York FC at Subaru Park on Sunday afternoon, falling 2-1. With the loss, Union II drop to fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 34 points. In the first half, Union II created the bulk of chances, outshooting Rochester eight to six, but couldn’t find the back of the net. Just before halftime, Rochester midfielder Wilterlynd Inalien found the back of the net in the 44th minute to put Rochester New York FC in the lead. In the second half, Homegrown midfielder Paxten Aaronson found forward Chris Donovan to equalize in the 42nd minute. An unlucky deflection saw Rochester’s Edward Williams score the game winner in stoppage time.
