Philadelphia Union II, in conjunction with MLS NEXT Pro, announced today their 2024 regular-season schedule which kicks off . The MLS NEXT Pro season will begin on March 15, concluding on MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day on Oct. 6. Union II will kick off the 2024 season at home against Toronto FC II on Sunday, March 17, 3:00 p.m. ET.
The majority of regular season matches, plus all Decision Day matches, playoff matches, and MLS NEXT Pro Cup will be available to watch live and on-demand on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. The remainder of regular season matches will stream live on mlsnextpro.com. MLS Season Pass is the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that is home to all MLS and Leagues Cup matches and hundreds of MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT matches.
Union II will be one of 29 clubs competing in MLS NEXT Pro this season. The club will play 28 regular season games, 14 home and 14 away, over 30 weeks. With the addition of two new clubs this season, the Western Conference will consist of 14 clubs, while the Eastern Conference will have 15. Three of the four divisions will feature seven clubs each, while the Northeast Division will have eight. In the Eastern Conference's Southeast Division, the upcoming season brings exciting matchups with the addition of two new independent clubs: Carolina Core FC and Chattanooga FC. Union II will play Chattanooga FC on Thursday, July 11 at Subaru Park, and Carolina Core FC on Wednesday, September 11 at Truist Point Stadium.
The 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs will feature the return of the “pick-your-opponent” format debuted during the 2023 postseason. This season, eight teams will qualify for the playoffs from each conference, with Seeds No. 1-4 selecting their opponents in the first round and does not include a first round bye for the No. 1 Seed. In the second round, only the highest remaining seed in each conference will select an opponent from any of the remaining three teams.
With the announcement of Union II’s 2024 schedule, General Admission tickets for all of their home matches at Subaru Park are now available for $12 per ticket. Union Season Ticket Members will receive two free Union II games for the 2024 season, and can purchase additional tickets at $7 each. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
