After opening the postseason with a home victory on Sunday evening, Philadelphia Union II has announced that the club's Eastern Conference Semifinal at Subaru Park will take place on Saturday, October 25th at 6PM ET.

Philadelphia Union II will host either Chicago Fire FC II or Huntsville City SC for the second MLS NEXT Pro playoff game of 2025 but tickets are on sale now for the match at Subaru Park. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here.

The No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, Union II kicked off their postseason run with a 2-1 win over FC Cincinnati 2 on Sunday evening. Forward Stas Korzeniowski led the way with goals in both halves as the Boys in Blue extended their winning streak to six games.

While Union II knows which opponent it could play, the club must wait until New York Red Bulls II select their opponent under the league's Pick-Your-Opponent playoff format which allows the highest-seeded teams to choose their opponents ahead of each round through the conference finals.

Union II are one of two clubs to qualify for the postseason in all four years of MLS NEXT Pro history, following a record-setting regular season. This season, Union II tied their club record for wins (15), which ranked second-most in the league, while setting new club marks for goals scored (64), goals allowed (34), and goal differential (+30), the highest in MLS NEXT Pro this season.

Philadelphia Union II only met Huntsville City SC once in 2025 with the two teams playing to a 2-2 draw in regulation on March 28th. The match was a back and forth affair with the Alabama side opening the scoring in the seventh minute only to see the game enter halftime tied after a stoppage time goal from Sal Olivas. The second half saw the Boys in Blue grab the lead via a Cavan Sullivan finish but Huntsville leveled it in the 67th minute to send the game to a penalty kick shootout which Huntsville City SC won by a 4-3 margin.

Meanwhile Union II and Chicago Fire FC II met twice in the regular season with the home team claiming all three points in each matchup. In August it was the Fire that nabbed a 2-0 win led by the standout performance from goalkeeper David Molenda who made seven saves in the match. Union II got their revenge last month with a 5-2 win at Subaru Park on September 21st. Korzeniowski netted a brace in the win while Olivas, Sullivan and Malik Jakupovic each added goals of their own to secure a home playoff match for Union II.

Following the Conference Semifinals, the two remaining Clubs will face each other, with the higher of the two seeds hosting. The Conference Finals (weekend of October 31) and MLS NEXT Pro Cup (weekend of November 7) follow a traditional bracket style.
