Fresh off a comeback thriller on Thursday night, Philadelphia Union II continues its five-game homestand with a showdown against Orlando City B on Monday afternoon. Get your tickets here or catch the action with MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Union II is one of the hottest teams in MLS NEXT Pro as they enter the contest unbeaten in their last four games. Overall the side under the direction of first year head coach Ryan Richter have lost just once in 2025 and are eager to continue their climb up the table with multiple games in hand. Sitting third in the table, the Boys in Blue overcame a 2-0 second half deficit to win in a penalty kick shootout against New England Revolution on Thursday night. Cavan Sullivan and Rafael Uzcátegui scored in the second half to force takes from the penalty spot with rookie goalkeeper Pierce Holbrook making a clutch save in the seventh round to secure the two points for Union II.
Monday's match is the first and only time in the regular season that Philly and Orlando will cross paths with Union II prevailing in a shootout the last time the two teams last April. Sal Olivas scored in the match but the game went seven rounds of PKs with homegrown Andrew Rick making the game-winning save.
Orlando City B currently sits six points behind Union II in the East with 20 points accumulated this season. Like Philly they have won six games in regulation but have struggled on the road with only two wins in seven attempts so far. The Florida side enter the game having lost two straight matches after falling to Carolina Core FC and Toronto FC II.
