Philadelphia Union II is back in action with an Eastern Conference showdown against Columbus Crew 2 on Saturday afternoon. Don't miss the action with kick off set for 3PM ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

The Boys in Blue are riding high with back-to-back victories by three goals to jump start their June slate despite having limited roster options. It didn't hold them back at all as they took down FC Cincinnati 2 by a 4-1 margin on June 3rd with four different goal scorers. After a 12 day gap, they kept on rolling with goalkeeper Pierce Holbrook picking up a shutout in his professional debut against Crown Legacy FC. After a scoreless opening half, Union II grabbed the lead in the 76th minute when homegrown CJ Olney's free kick was tucked into the back of net after a collision between Crown Legacy's Nicholas Holliday and Assane Ouedraogo. Less than a minute later the Boys in Blue had doubled their lead with Eddy Davis III notching his first of two assists on the evening with a threaded pass to Stas Korzeniowski for the breakaway finish. Homegrown David Vazquez scored his first goal of the 2025 season in the 86th minute, taking pass from Davis III and tucking it into the back of the net for the 3-0 scoreline.

With the victory, Union II sits in fourth place in the Eastern Conference table with 21 points earned through 10 league matches and ranks No. 2 overall in points per game with four games in hand versus second place Chattanooga FC.

Saturday's host currently sit at the bottom the table with 10 points in 11 matches so far in 2025. The two teams faced off on May 11th with Union II grabbing a 3-0 home win over the Ohio side behind goals from Sal Olivas, Eddy Davis III and Jamir Johnson. Despite the lack of results they have some momentum entering the match after starting their four-game homestand with a penalty kick shootout win against NYCFC II.
