Philadelphia Union II is back under the lights on Friday night, wrapping up their 2025 regular season road schedule at Toronto FC II with coverage on MLSNEXTPro.com.

The Boys in Blue have regained their stride with three-straight wins to sit just three points out of first place with six points left to claim. Union II is coming off an impressive 5-2 home win over Chicago Fire II which earned the club its fifth MLS NEXT Pro Team of the Matchweek honor. Forward Stas Korzeniowski had a breakout match, netting his first professional brace while Sal Olivas, Cavan Sullivan and Malik Jakupovic added to the scoreline. Goalkeeper George Marks made 10 saves in the contest and had a shutout through 89 minutes before a rebound off a saved penalty kick spoiled the clean sheet pursuit.

While Union II is looking to grab three points to put the pressure on No. 1 seed New York Red Bulls II, a result of any kind would secure the young side a first round playoff match at Subaru Park.

Friday's contest is the third meeting between Philly and Toronto with Union II grabbing a 5-0 win in July but the latest affair saw the Canadian club grab a 8-7 penalty shootout win after the two teams played to a 2-2 draw.

The Young Reds come into the match sitting in seventh but see a crowd of contenders battling for a Top 8 spot to make the MLS NEXT Pro postseason. Toronto's 38 points have come through regulation wins (10) which bodes well for the side as its the first tiebreaker. Toronto enters their home finale coming off a penalty kick shootout win over Columbus Crew 2 last Friday.
