After bye that saw the organization claim another trophy, Philadelphia Union II returns to MLS NEXT Pro action with a Thursday afternoon battle against Orlando City B. Don’t miss the action starting at 4PM with MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Philadelphia Union II remains unbeaten in league action after the three matches with the Boys in Blue battling back for a road point in Chicago on March 28th. It was another comeback effort for Marlon LeBlanc’s side as they overcame a first half deficit behind Eddy Davis’ second goal of 2024 in the 71st minute to force a penalty kick shootout that went in favor of the homeside.

Union II’s strong start to 2024 has the team currently ranked No. 6 in the latest edition of the MLS NEXT Pro Power Rankings and forward Eddy Davis racking up league accolades as MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 3 and March’s MLS NEXT Pro Rising Star of the Month.

Orlando City B has started its season with mixed results and are coming off their first loss of the season, falling to Inter Miami CF II by a 2-0 margin last week. Like Philly, Orlando City B is battle tested having played in tight matches across their entire season. It started in their season opener against Atlanta where they overcame a one-goal deficit with three-straight goals to earn a 3-2 win. They followed up the performance with shootout win over Huntsville City with Justin Ellis netting the equalizer in the first half.
