Philadelphia Union II will be back at Subaru Park again on Wednesday where they’ll play Crown Legacy FC at 7:00 pm. Fans can tune in to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV to watch the next generation of Union players compete.

The team opened its three-game home slate on Friday night with a 1-0 win against Atlanta United 2, improving its record to 4-6-3. Now, the team has a challenge ahead as Crown Legacy FC sits atop the Eastern Conference standings with just two losses so far this season.

The two teams met less than one month ago on May 24 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina. The Union earned a dominant lead early, preventing Charlotte from earning its first goal until the 57th minute, when May’s MLS Next Player of the Month, forward Iuri Tavares, scored a left footed shot following an assist from forward Vinicius Mello.

Philadelphia maintained its 2-1 lead throughout the second half, until a 90th minute right-footed goal from Mello sent the game to a penalty shootout. Charlotte ultimately outscored the Union with four goals to Philadelphia’s two.

Tavares is the opposing player to watch on Wednesday -- he totaled three goals and an assist in May alone, boosting his season scoring total to six.

Union II will look for a more favorable outcome in this upcoming rematch at home. Click here to purchase tickets!
