Union II's Malik Jakupovic selected for U.S. U-17 National Team Domestic Identity Camp

Philadelphia Union II announced today that forward Malik Jakupovic has been selected to join the U.S. Under-17 Men's Nationa Team Domestic Identity Training Camps during the September FIFA window.

Jakupovic is one of three signed Union II players called-up by the U.S. this window, with the forward joining defender Kaiden Moore for this Identity Training Camp with the U-19s while midfielder Kellan LeBlanc was selected for the U-17 USMNT that will play two friendlies in the Netherlands.

The camp is a part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.

The U-17's will train concurrently with the U-19s from Sept. 1-8 at McCurry Park in Fayetteville, Ga.
