Philadelphia Union II will be back home at Subaru Park on Friday where they’ll play Atlanta United 2 at 7:00 pm. Fans can tune in to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV to watch the next generation of Union players compete.

The contest kicks off a three-game homestand in Chester, and it’ll be a ceremonious occasion for a handful of players on the Union II roster as the team’s Academy graduation is set for Friday morning.

Atlanta (5-4-3) sits at 7th place in MLS Next Pro Eastern Conference standings, right above the Union in 8th (3-6-3). They most recently claimed a dominant 5-0 victory over Inter Miami II on their home turf in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Atlanta midfielders Nick Firmino and David Mejía are top opponents to watch – each scored a brace in Atlanta’s recent win. Firmino was voted MLS NEXT Pro Man of the Matchday for his performance, which vaulted him into a tie for second place in the league's Golden Boot race with seven goals scored. The 22-year-old Brazilian has played in every Atlanta United 2 game this season, notching three multi-goal efforts over 992 minutes played.

The visitors have enjoyed quite a favorable schedule to start their league season with eight matches already played in front of their home fans. Favorably for Union II, Atlanta has yet to claim a win away from home this season with only three points claimed in four games.
