With the 2019 adidas MLS Player Combine kicking off today in Orlando, invitees will get the opportunity to showcase their skills in training sessions, individual meetings, and game action.
More than 60 players were invited to the combine, which runs through January 9, and the event is highlighted by the four matches that will take place on Saturday, January 5 and on the final day of the combine. All matches will be streamed through Major League Soccer with MLSSoccer.com's David Gass and Bobby Warshaw calling the action. The games start on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET as Team Copa takes on Team Nemeziz which will be followed by Team Predator vs. Team X at 2:45 p.m. ET.

On Wednesday, the final matches will kick off in a tournament-style conclusion to the event. The winning teams will face off at 10 a.m. with the other two sides squaring off at 12:15 p.m.

All matches and scouting at the combine are in preparation for the 2019 MLS SuperDraft in Chicago that will take place on Friday, January 11. The Union currently hold five picks in the draft, beginning with the 13th overall selection. Philly also acquired the 5th pick in the second round (29th overall) in the trade that sent Fabian Herbers to Chicago Fire in December 2018. In 2012, Philadelphia used the 13th overall pick to select attacker Chandler Hoffman.
