The match saw defender Japhet Sery Alladoh collect his first MLS start for the Boys in Blue in his club debut as the squad kicked off its league slate in Washington, D.C.
Sery joined the Union in January after a permanent transfer from Norwegian side SK Brann through the 2028-2029 season, with an option through the 2029-2030 season.
