Auston Trusty with a lot to gain from USMNT January camp

The first camp under new U.S. Men's National Team manager Gregg Berhalter started Monday in Chula Vista, California. With that camp comes the opportunity for players to impress their new coach and make their mark.

According to MLSsoccer.com's Tom Bogert, Philadelphia Union center back Auston Trusty is one of five players with the most to gain from the camp. Bogert says, Trusty is looking to stand out in a position which is quite deep but without Jonathan Brooks, Matt Miazga and Cameron Carter-Vickers due to their European seasons.

"Regardless of what happens in January, Trusty will have more opportunities  but he has the chance to keep himself in the team when healthy for the next decade with a strong performance."
