The mission of Chester Upland Youth Soccer is to use the game of soccer to mentor youth, promote healthy living habits, engage families within the Chester Upland, and surrounding communities, and provide participants a pathway to reach the highest levels of academic and athletic excellence.
The signature program of CUYS is Soccer for Success, the US Soccer Foundation’s national program model proven to deliver favorable health outcomes to underserved communities through a free after-school soccer program.
The Philadelphia Union Foundation has supported Chester Upland Youth Soccer and their mission throughout the years with ticket donations, player appearances at events and the launch of a mini-pitch at Stetser Elementary in 2015 where several players served as coaches in a small-sided game with local youth from the Chester Upland Soccer for Success program.
