What's new to Subaru Park in 2022

We're just two days away from the start of the 2022 MLS season that kicks off on Saturday, February 26th, with the Philadelphia Union against Minnesota United FC.

Subaru Park will be packed with fans on February 26 for the home opener against Minnesota United, and those fans will have some new gameday food options and experiences.

When fans arrive, they will see a giant UNION word structure with a removable ‘I’. Jump into the word structure yourself in place of the ‘I’ for a fun photo to welcome the new season.

The Heineken beer garden will move across the Subaru Plaza near the Union Shop, and new games will be added to the plaza as the season goes on.

And keep your eyes peeled for a special surprise from Phang that will provide a lot of new entertainment options for kids.

Q102 DJ Nico Oso will be on the plaza throughout the season to add an extra bolt of energy to the atmosphere with music and fan interaction.

Inside the stadium, Wing Kitchen will be offering a selection of delicious wings all year, and don’t miss more new food vendors in the spring!

Once you find your seat, you’ll hear stadium announcer Kevin Casey’s voice joined by new gameday host Rach on the Radio from Q102. And that’s not all you’ll hear: A gigantic new six foot tall drum will help welcome the team to the field. At the home opener, Union Ring of Honor member Sebastien Le Toux will become the first person to bang the Thunder Drum.

So get your friends, grab your tickets, and experience everything new at Subaru Park.
