The 2023 Philadelphia Union schedule has been released and we're bringing you some fast facts to help you take in the new 34-game slate the Boys in Blue will take on in the new year.

Starting at Home

The Eastern Conference Champion Philadelphia Union will start off its 14th season in MLS in front of the Union faithful with an Eastern Conference clash against the Columbus Crew. The opener at Subaru Park marks the second-straight season the Boys in Blue start off a new campaign in front of the Union faithful where the club is unbeaten in its last 23 regular season games in Chester.

Three Games on National TV

Every 2023 MLS match to air live on MLS Season Pass, the all-new streaming service on the Apple TV app launching February 1. Fans can watch the entire MLS season including the playoffs on the Apple TV app and the service will feature no blackouts or restrictions, and you can share with up to 5 others with Family Sharing (Requires iCloud Family Sharing. Philadelphia Union will play on national television three times in 2023 with rivalry home matches against D.C. United (May 17) and New York Red Bulls (Sept. 3) featured on FS1. The Union's road trip to Atlanta United FC on July 2 will be featured on FOX. All three matches will also be broadcast on Fox Deportes.

Rivalry Week at Subaru Park

The Boys in Blue will spend MLS Rivalry Week at Subaru Park with D.C. United and the New England Revolution coming to Chester in May. The Union's I-95 battle against D.C. on Wednesday, May 17, will feature on FS1 and then it'll be a short turnaround for the Union as they take on the Revs on Saturday, May 20.

Longest Road Trip

The longest road trip for the Union based solely on the MLS schedule takes place in July when the Union will go from Chester to Atlanta then across the country for a late night battle against the LA Galaxy before flying to Nashville. The three-games in 10 days stretch will see the Union cover 5,763 miles.

That road trip could be topped though in April however if the Union get past Alianza FC in the Concacaf Champions League Round of 16. The Quarterfinals would start at Subaru Park and then seen the Union fly to FC Cincinnati (April 8), to Atlas FC or CD Olimpia (April 11-13) and then to Chicago (April 15).

Depending on the location of the match, the Union's road trip in April would go from just over 1,600 miles for the two league matches to either 5,371 miles (Atlas FC) or 7,232 miles (CD Olimpia).
