Philadelphia Union defender Jakob Glesnes recorded another memorable moment to his growing legend with the club as he made his 200th career start for the Boys in Blue on Wednesday night.
Taking to the pitch 90 minutes after being announced as a MLS All-Star for the third time in his career, Glesnes became the fourth player in club history to reach the double century mark. The center back joins Andre Blake, Alejandro Bedoya and Kai Wagner as the only players with 200 starts for the Union.
Glesnes joined the club ahead of the 2020 season and has become notorious for his long-range blasts with memorable goals at LAFC and the game-winning goal in the fist round of the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs against New York Red Bulls.
