Back-to-School Supplies Drive
Philadelphia Union and presenting partner WSFS Bank are hosting a Back-to-School Supplies Drive during the club's August 1 and August 19 matches at Subaru Park. Fans are encouraged to bring new school supplies to support CityTeam Chester's Backpack Carnival, which provides local children with backpacks and the supplies they need for a successful school year.
Donations can be dropped off before kickoff at the U-Serve Tent on Subaru Plaza.
The drive is part of U-Serve, presented by Bimbo Bakeries USA, which connects fans with volunteer opportunities throughout Greater Philadelphia. Fans who sign up for U-Serve and complete five volunteer hours by August 13 will be eligible to receive two tickets to a Philadelphia Union Leagues Cup match in August. New Concession Offerings
Fans will notice several new food and beverage options when they arrive at Subaru Park this weekend.
Be sure to stop by Snake Bites, located at Sections 103 and 114, featuring bánh mì sandwiches, empanadas, and many of your Subaru Park favorites.
Looking for a quick bite? Two new grab-and-go locations will also open on Wednesday:
- DOOP Express — Section 126
- TRE Market — Section 101
Whether you're looking for a full meal or a quick snack before kickoff, these new locations are designed to help fans spend less time in line and more time enjoying the match.
Gameday Timeline
All gates will open at 6PM ET for the Union's home match against Atlanta United FC on Saturday.
In addition to gate opening, the Union shop will open at 5PM for guests along with Subaru Plaza opening at 5:30PM.
Zero Landfill
With the Philadelphia Union's innovative, forward-thinking initiatives and Subaru's long history of environmentalism and zero landfill expertise, the Union and Subaru have made Subaru Park the first zero landfill soccer stadium in Major League Soccer. To achieve this, Subaru Park reduces, reuses, and recycles more than 90% of its waste with the remaining waste converted to energy, thereby putting nothing into landfills since officially declaring zero-landfill status in 2021. By creating in-stadium messaging and an easy system for fans to sort their waste, Subaru and the Union cut the amount of waste each fan generated in half and increased the amount of waste fans recycle five-fold. Helping to keep trash out of landfills is just another way Subaru lives up to its commitment to support the Philadelphia community through its partnership with the Philadelphia Union.
